Site work and new construction of a civil project in Bellingham, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and water / sewer project.
Sealed proposals for the construction of the Tremont Lift Station EU-193 project will be received for the improvement of a new Lift Station at the corner of Tremont Ave and Meridian St. and force main to connect the sewer system installed in 2010 along Meridian St. between Van Wyck Rd. and Smith Rd. to the City of Bellingham System and other related work, all in accordance with attached Contract Plans, Contract Provisions, and Standard Specifications. All proposals must be on the Bid Proposal form provided and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, cash, money order, or bid bond payable to the Finance Director in an amount equal to or exceeding five percent (5%) of the total bid. No other form of bid security is acceptable. A one hundred percent (100%) payment and performance contract bond will be required, except for projects of thirty-five thousand dollars ($35,000) or less, for which the contractor may opt for retainage of fifty percent (50%) until releasable per RCW 39.08.010 in lieu of the contract bond. The right is reserved to postpone the award, reject any or all bids, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights. Price range for the project is $3,100,000 - $3,600,000.
