The contractor shall provide commercial construction services to replace existing motor control centers, switchgear equipment, and draw-out breakers located in Building 62. The work includes removal and replacement of antiquated electrical equipment dating back to the 1940s and 1950s, installation of new breakers in existing switchgear, and testing in accordance with the construction documents. The scope also requires conducting arc-flash studies and thermal scanning on all replaced motor control centers and draw-out breakers to ensure safe and reliable operation. All work shall be performed in accordance with the attached plan documents and applicable standards to support continued facility operations.
