The City of Richmond, Virginia, on behalf of the Department of Public Utilities, seeks bids from qualified firms to provide general contracting services for the Trash Rake Improvements project. The work will involve site work, demolition, concrete, painting, metals, mechanical, electrical, and other related specialties necessary to improve the City's trash rake systems. The intent is to provide greater efficiency by enabling the City to clear extrication with fewer cycles. Specific details regarding the nature and prosecution of the work are provided in the Statement of Work. Bids must be submitted sealed and the process is not private. Question Deadline 05/06/2026 at 4:00 PM ET If any person contemplating submitting a bid for the proposed Work is in doubt as to the true meaning of any part of the proposed Contract Documents or discrepancies of any sort between existing conditions and proposed new Work, he must submit a written request for an interpretation via online. 1.2.1. The McCloy Pump Station: 3801 Douglasdale Road, Richmond, VA 23221, and C. The Hampton Street Pump Station: 1700 Hampton Street, Richmond, VA 23220.
