Renovation of a water / sewer project in West Nyack, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.

The project consists of constructing a new PFAS/PFOA treatment system designed to remove per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances from the source waters. The new treatment building installation will include granular activated carbon vessels, a below-grade clearwell, associated pumping equipment, and all required electrical systems. Site improvements will involve modifications to the existing flood wall, installation of new walkways, construction of a gravel access driveway, installation of a blowoff pit and associated piping, and restoration of the existing gravel driveway. The project also includes replacing the current emergency generator with a larger diesel generator capable of supporting the expanded treatment operations. All additional requirements, technical specifications, and construction details are provided in the project specifications and plan sheets. Each proposal submitted must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond, made payable to the Village of Nyack, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, as a commitment by the bidder that, if its bid is accepted, it will enter into a contract to perform the work and will execute such further security as may be required for the faithful performance of the contract. Doc note: Plan deposit is refundable in accordance with the terms in the Information for Bidders to all submitting bids. Any bidder requiring documents to be shipped shall make arrangements with the printer and pay for all packaging and shipping costs. As a convenience to the Contractor, Digital Bidding Documents may be obtained from the following website: online as an online download for a non-refundable fee of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00), paid by credit card. Please note REV and online are the designated locations and means for distributing and obtaining all bid package information. All bid documents will be posted and advertised live on online starting on April 6, 2026. All bidders are urged to register to ensure receipt of all necessary information, including bid addenda. All bid addenda will be transmitted to registered plan holders via email and will be available at online. Plan holders who have paid for hard copies of the bid documents will need to make the determination if hard copies of the addenda are required for their use, and coordinate directly with REV for hard copies of addenda to be issued. There will be no charge for registered plan holders to obtain hard copies of the bid addenda.
