Renovation of a clubhouse / community center in Peoria, Illinois. Completed plans call for the renovation of a clubhouse / community center.
Sealed bids will be received for a chiller replacement project at Noble Center, 1125 W Lake Avenue, Peoria, Illinois. Bidders are required to submit a 10% Bid Bond with their proposal. The successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance Bond and a 100% Labor and Materials Payment Bond within ten days of the contract award. The prevailing wage for the Peoria area applies for each worker or craft needed for the work, as required by the State of Illinois Department of Labor. Compliance with the Illinois Preference Act, Illinois Drug Free Workplace Act, and Substance Abuse Prevention on Public Works Act is mandatory. Bidders must also adhere to non-discrimination, equal opportunity, and affirmative action provisions as stated in the Human Rights Act and department regulations. The Peoria Park District encourages participation by minority and female-owned firms and reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technical deficiencies, informalities, or irregularities, or rebid the project. The project work includes all labor, materials and equipment necessary to upgrade all mechanical systems, instrumentation, components and finishes for the new chiller system at Noble Center, including but not limited to minor demolition and disposal of existing system, installation of all new mechanical pieces and hookups, and start up of system.
