The work consists of the variable depth milling of bituminous asphalt pavement, crack cleaning and sealing, and bituminous asphalt overlays along a 1.8 mile section of Tunnel Street designated as part of the 911 National Memorial Trail. The work includes all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified. Instructions to bidders: Bids must be submitted for all work as shown and specified. Bidders must obtain bidding documents from the designated issuing office to be eligible. Printed copies and electronic versions of the bidding documents are available for a fee. Successful bidders must furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor & Material Payment Bond each equal to 100% of the total contract amount, as well as evidence of required insurance coverage. All bidders must comply with State anti-bid-rigging regulations and submit a non-collusion affidavit. Compliance with the "Steel Procurement Act" and PA Prevailing Wage Rates is required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities.
