Work consists of installing a new traffic signal. Roadway improvements to Buckeye Loop Rd and Country Club Rd are also included in the project. A detailed description of the signal and roadway improvements is included within the construction plans provided by HDR Engineering Inc. The construction cost estimate for the project is $3,662,727.75. The number of days to complete the project is 330 days. The prime contractor shall be a certified general contractor in the State of Florida and must have been in business under the same name or EIN number for a minimum of 5 years. The contractor should submit with their bid a minimum of four recent references of comparable work for public agencies such as cities, counties, or FDOT that were completed within the last five years by the prime contractor. The prime contractor shall perform a minimum of 40% of the work. Women/Minority Business Enterprise firms are to be afforded a full opportunity to participate in any bid and will not be subject to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, or national origin.
