The Town of Payson is soliciting proposals from qualified developers for a signature mixed-use project on a 1.52-acre Town-owned parcel on Main Street, backing to American Gulch, along with adjacent property northeast of McLane and Wilson Ct and west of Westerly. The Town seeks an experienced partner in mixed-use development, urban design, and public space enhancement to deliver a premier destination that drives economic vitality and community benefit as a cornerstone of its Main Street redevelopment initiative. The development is envisioned as a catalyst for reinvestment, creating a vibrant, pedestrian-oriented environment that integrates commercial activity, public spaces, and community gathering areas, reinforcing Main Street as the heart of Payson while enhancing connectivity to surrounding natural and civic assets. The Town is seeking a collaborative partner with expertise in mixed-use projects, urban design, public space enhancement, and high-quality public realm integration, seeking a proposal that balances market feasibility, architectural excellence, and economic vitality to deliver a destination reflective of Payson as a premier Arizona locale.
