Seal/Quick Set Fog Seal Program involving 10 roadways totaling 56,048 square yards. Specifications and bid forms are available at no cost on PennBID. Sealed bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a bid bond issued by a surety that meets PennDOT Pub. 408 requirements, in an amount of ten percent of the bid price. The successful bidder must furnish performance and payment bonds, each equal to the contract price and in accordance with PennDOT Publication 408, Section 103.04. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified per Section 102 of Publication 408. This project is classified as maintenance and is not subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all bids.
