Question Deadline: 10:00 AM on April 16, 2026. Questions regarding this Bid shall be directed to Robert Lind, Director of Maintenance and Operations Department (rlind@cousd.net) (“Point of Contact”). All questions must be submitted by 12:00 PM on April 17, 2026. The project is identified as Bid #25-26-02 Asbestos Abatement Project at Charter Oak High School, Glen Oak Elementary, and Washington Elementary. The scope of work will include, but is not limited to, abating flooring on the Administration Building at Charter Oak High School, the MPR Building at Glen Oak Elementary, and the kitchen in the Administration Building at Washington Elementary. Sealed bids are to be submitted using the provided forms, and all bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Bidders are required to possess a Class C-22, ASB, and HAZ Certification at the time the contract is awarded. The awarded specialty contractor must construct a majority of the work. All work must be completed within fourteen consecutive calendar days from the date stated in the Notice to Proceed. Failure to complete the work within the time specified will result in liquidated damages as outlined. The District reserves the right to extend the bid closing date, reject any or all bids, or waive any irregularities or information in any bids or bidding. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and job walk is required for contractors to be considered responsive bidders; failure to attend will result in the bid being returned unopened.
