Sealed bids are requested for the construction of three asphaltic concrete overlay projects referred to as "Saunders County 2026 Asphalt," including all labor, materials, transportation, and equipment. The projects cover approximately 8.4 miles of 2'-6" trenched widening with 3" asphaltic concrete overlay, 0.4 miles of 2" overlay, and 0.15 miles of 3" overlay respectively, all with cold milling, earth shoulder construction, and other related incidental work. Each bidder must submit a bid bond or certified check equal to five percent of the total bid proposal, provide start and end dates for each project, and complete the work within the specified calendar days for each site. Within ten days of contract award, the successful bidder must furnish a surety bond in the full contract amount. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive irregularities, and bid award will follow county competitive bidding statutes. All bid proposals must be submitted on the forms provided. The project sites are located as follows: C-78(863) - Road X between Highway 79 and Highway 109, C-78(895) - Road 17 between Road X and Road Y, C-78(896) - Road 16 between Old Highway 77 and Road L, all in Saunders County, Nebraska.
