Site work and new construction of a recreation facility in Iberville, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a recreation facility; and for site work for a recreation facility.
New Construction Building with site work. Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under Louisiana Contractors Licensing Law for the Major Classification of Building Construction. The bidder shall show their license number on the bid and on the sealed envelope submitting the bid. Each bidder must deposit with their bid security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570. No bidder may withdraw their bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause, in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes. The provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity. Bids will not be accepted through the online bidding portal; they must be received by mail and/or hand delivery at the specified location.
