** The City of Maricopa hereby provides notice of the cancellation of Solicitation No. 26-44045-RFQPW issued on April 7 2026. After careful consideration, the RFQ solicitation has been postponed. The City of Maricopa anticipates issuing a new solicitation for similar services at a later date. The City of Maricopa is seeking a firm to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) Services for the Lake View Park Phase II CIP project, located on a 12 acre city owned parcel adjacent to Lake View Park Phase I (22240 N Powers Pkwy, Maricopa AZ 85138). The project will include three (3) sand baseball fields, two (2) batting cages, a playground area, shade structures, trails, maintenance yard, basketball court, ramada(s), a new entrance way, and parking for approximately 250 vehicles. Other items may be included depending on timing and budget such as a restroom building, conversion of existing 2 ball fields to sand based, 1/2 court basketball court in phase I, and trail extension from the southwest corner of the park to Smith-Enke RD (approximately 0.5 mile). Drainage basins will also be constructed as well as any improvements necessary for storm water retention. Coordination with existing utilities (WAPA, Global Water, ED3, etc.) will be expected. The selected firm will be brought on for Pre-Construction Services, the design is anticipated to be at or around 90%. The construction timeline is expected to be 12 months from Notice to Proceed for the construction phase of the project.
