This contract provides for the construction of roadway pre-loading, stormwater conveyance, erosion control, and other work in preparation for the future construction of SE 41st Street. All work is to be in accordance with the Contract Provisions, Plans, and Specifications. Bidders must meet the following requirements: All contractors must be licensed in the State of Washington. All work performed will be subject to the higher of the prevailing state or federal wage rates. All bid proposals must be accompanied by a bid security deposit in cash, money order, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond equal to five percent (5%) of the proposal amount. If the successful bidder fails to enter into a contract and provide a satisfactory performance bond within the specified time, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited. The Port of Camas-Washougal reserves the right to waive informalities, accept the lowest responsible bidder, reject any or all bids, republish the call for bids, revise or cancel the work, or require the work to be done differently if deemed in the best interest of the Port.
