Site work for a water / sewer project in New Iberia, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing and installation of drainage improvements in and around the Highland area (Victory Dr., Prioux St., Vicnair St., Angers St.) in the City of New Iberia. Bids are to be on a unit price basis, with no segregated bids accepted. Bidders must be properly licensed as Contractors for Municipal and Public Works Construction according to Louisiana Revised Statues 37:2150-2163. Bidders must provide evidence of holding the proper license at the time bidding documents are requested and must show their license number on the bid form and envelope. Each bid must include bid security made payable to the City of New Iberia, amounting to at least five percent of the bidder's maximum bid price, submitted as a certified check or bid bond as per LA R.S. 2218. An executed Certificate as to Corporate Principal and Corporate Resolution must also accompany each bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Bid forms and related documents are available online, or as hard copies and CD versions at the office of Staples Engineering and Consulting, LLC, with specified conditions for document deposits and refunds.
