Renovation of a mixed-use development in Chicago, Illinois. Working plans call for the renovation of a medical facility.
Provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision required to replace and modernize nine elevators, including elevators numbered 1 through 8 and the Morgue elevator, along with their associated machinery located in the machine room. Work includes improving overall system reliability and performance; replacing aged and obsolete components; upgrading existing firefighter's operations to comply with current code requirements; replacing or modernizing elevator cars and hoistway door equipment; replacing or modernizing elevator car and corridor pushbuttons and signal fixtures to comply with ADA requirements; and upgrading existing building conditions to meet current National Elevator Safety Code (ASME A17.1) and applicable building code requirements, all in accordance with the construction documents. The work shall be completed within 490 calendar days from receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Location: Jesse Brown VA Medical Center, 820 South Damen Avenue, Chicago, IL 60612. The project magnitude range is between $10,000,000 and $20,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
