Provide all tools, materials, components, labor, and supervision required to replace and modernize nine elevators, including elevators numbered 1 through 8 and the Morgue elevator, along with their associated machinery located in the machine room. Work includes improving overall system reliability and performance; replacing aged and obsolete components; upgrading existing firefighter's operations to comply with current code requirements; replacing or modernizing elevator cars and hoistway door equipment; replacing or modernizing elevator car and corridor pushbuttons and signal fixtures to comply with ADA requirements; and upgrading existing building conditions to meet current National Elevator Safety Code (ASME A17.1) and applicable building code requirements, all in accordance with the construction documents.
