Gakijiwanong Anishinaabe Nation is seeking Requests for Prequalification (RFPQ) from General Contractors interested in prequalifying for the opportunity to bid on the Water Treatment Plant & Distribution Upgrade project. The Community is located in the Rainy River District of northwestern Ontario, Canada, along the Ontario-Minnesota border. It is approximately 200 km northwest of Thunder Bay, Ontario. Prequalified contractors will be invited to submit a Bid for this project. It is anticipated that the contract documents will be issued to prequalified contractors for tender in mid-to-late May 2026. The project will consist of three (3) separate lots; one (1) for Water System Upgrades, one (1) for Subdivision Phase 1, and one (1) for West Side Servicing and Marine Line.
