Renovation of a multi-residential development in Fort Frances, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-unit multi-residential development.

The work includes providing all materials, labour, equipment, services, and incidentals to complete asbestos abatement at one rental unit located at 1008 Armit Ave., known as Armit Avenue Family Housing in Fort Frances, Ontario. The General Contractor is required to supervise and administer all contract requirements, ensuring the provision of materials, labor, equipment, services, and incidentals necessary to complete the work on time and to the specified quality. Contractors must verify site conditions and measurements prior to submitting a quotation, notify of any specification errors or omissions before quoting, and obtain all licenses, permits, and inspections required for the work, providing copies of permits before starting. The work must be conducted in a continuous manner between 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except statutory holidays unless pre-approved. Two days’ notice must be given prior to starting, and all work must be completed by the specified completion date. Contractors are responsible for moving and protecting tenants’ belongings as needed, and for minimizing inconvenience to neighboring residents. The contractor must also ensure fire safety, maintain the site according to specified standards, and comply with all applicable standards.
