Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of renewal of water mains on Lockwood Street, Fulham Avenue, Knox Street, Ness Avenue, Ingersoll Street and Princess Street, all within the City of Winnipeg. The major components of the Work are as follows: installation of approximately 965m of 150mm to 250mm diameter PVC water main pipe by trenchless methods; installation of approximately 15m of 200mm diameter PVC water main pipe by online open cut renewal; abandonment of existing water mains as required; removal and abandonment of existing hydrant assemblies and gate valves as required; installation of valves and hydrant assemblies; reconnection or renewal of water services connections; works in proximity to Ingersoll Feeder Main; and restoration of pavement and boulevard areas. Universal Design Policy shall apply to the Work. Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
