Renovation of a municipal facility in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 2,256-square-foot, three-story above grade municipal facility.
Renovation and maintenance repair work on a 100-plus year old (47ft x 48ft) barn. Work includes structural repairs to three levels of the barn, with main items being: safe shoring plan, selective demolition, installation of eight steel columns and footings, sistering of several wood joists, replacement of rotted wood framing, overlay decking of floor, and stone wall repair. This is a single prime contract. All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 10% of the total bid proposal. Sealed bids are to be delivered to the specified address and must be received by the stated deadline. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the barn site. Prevailing wage rates apply, and applicable state public works employment verification is required. The selected bidder must provide performance bond, payment bond, maintenance bond, and insurance certifications including worker's compensation insurance. The right to reject any and all bids or parts thereof is reserved. Bid documents are available online or by hard copy for a non-refundable fee. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents are to be directed to Owner. Questions received less than five days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
