Site work for a water / sewer project in Elmwood Park, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The scope of work is the full replacement of lead service lines from the water main through to the interior of the building or from the existing B-Box, including connection to the water meter as identified. Work includes complete connection of the new service line, disconnection of the old lead service line, and associated site restoration. Removal and replacement of lead water service lines. Bidders are required to comply with regulations including those under the Illinois Environmental Protection Agencys Procedures for Issuing Loans from the Public Water Supply Loan Program (35 IAC Part 662), the Davis-Bacon Act, the Employment of Illinois Workers on Public Works Act, the Illinois Works Jobs Program Act, and the Build America, Buy America Act. Procurement is also subject to the loan recipients policy regarding the increased use of disadvantaged business enterprises, and all bidders must undertake specified affirmative efforts at least sixteen days prior to bid opening as detailed in the specifications. 5% for MBEs and 12% for WBEs. Question Deadline 05/06/2026 Questions concerning the Request for Bids must be submitted in writing to Christopher B.
