Roadway improvements on Beech Street and Cherry Street in the City of Tecumseh, including 1538 square yards of cold milling, 245 tons of 8" Type "A" patching, 783 tons of 2" Type "B" asphalt overlay, 268 tons of 1" Type "C" asphalt leveling, and 500 gallons of tack coat. The work requires furnishing and constructing all material and equipment as shown in the plans and described in the specifications. Bidders must complete and submit all required forms, including Bid Proposal, Business Relationship Affidavit, Bid Bond, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Payroll Affidavit, and Certificate as to Corporate Principal, in a sealed envelope with the bidder's name, address, and project name. Bids must be accompanied by a 5% bid security and all bidders must be listed on the official plan holder's list. The Owner reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. No conditional or qualified bids will be accepted, and no bid may be withdrawn within 60 days of the opening date. Successful bidders must agree to complete the work within 60 consecutive calendar days and may be subject to $600 liquidated damages for each day thereafter. Subcontractors are subject to Owner acceptance and must submit required certifications. All applicable laws and regulations apply to the contract.
