The City of Norwalk’s Housing & Neighborhood Development Division is a participating jurisdiction under the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program, HOME Investments Partnership Program (HOME), HOME American Rescue Plan (HOME-ARP), and Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) and Project Based Voucher (PBV) programs under the Norwalk Housing Authority. The City is seeking a qualified consultant to provide CERTIFIED LEAD-BASED PAINT HAZARD EVALUATIONS, LEAD HAZARD ABATEMENT MONITORING, POST-ABATEMENT CLEARANCE TESTING, AND ASBESTOS TESTING SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S FEDERALLY FUNDED HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM, AND OTHER DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS to assist the City with this endeavor. Should an award of contract be made, the selected Proposer will enter into a professional services agreement with the City of Norwalk to provide CERTIFIED LEAD-BASED PAINT HAZARD EVALUATIONS, LEAD HAZARD ABATEMENT MONITORING, POST-ABATEMENT CLEARANCE TESTING, AND ASBESTOS TESTING SERVICES FOR THE CITY’S FEDERALLY FUNDED HOME IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM, HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM, AND OTHER DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS.
