The project involves electrical relocation work at Building 299, Sky Foundry, located at Rock Island Arsenal. The scope of work consists of relocating existing electrical systems to support facility requirements as detailed in the solicitation documents and associated technical and quality assurance attachments. In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 36.204, the total estimated magnitude of construction for this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A pre-construction site visit is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Central Time on 02 April 2026, as further described in the solicitation narrative. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. This project is to move three existing bus ducts to new locations and move multiple conduits and communication cables closer to the building roof trusses in building 299 zone 8. This includes everything necessary to complete the project, such as conductors, conduits, support systems, bus ducts, bus plugs, and any hardware necessary to complete the relocation and installation of the existing bus ducts. The contractor must verify that the wiring and power is available in each of the newly located bus ducts when the installation is completed.
