The City of Pasadena is seeking qualified vendors to provide as-needed generator repair and maintenance services for standby generators at various City facilities for the remainder of the current fiscal year. Services include routine inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and emergency response to ensure generators remain operational and reliable. The Contractor shall provide all labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary to perform generator maintenance and repair services on an as-needed basis. Routine services include monthly inspections of generator engine components and overall system condition, addressing engine operation, fuel levels, leaks, wear, and general operational readiness. Contractors must diagnose issues, provide repair recommendations, perform repairs upon City approval, supply and install replacement parts as needed, support fuel-related service needs when requested, and ensure repairs restore the generator to safe and operational condition. Emergency repair services require a response within two hours of notification when failure impacts City operations. Minimum requirements include experience with generator maintenance, ability to service diesel-powered generators, qualified technicians, compliance with safety regulations, and the ability to meet specified response times. All work must be performed professionally and align with manufacturer recommendations, with clear communication to City staff and maintenance of safe work areas. Bidders must complete all forms included in the submittal checklist, bid on all items specified, and enter pricing into the City's eProcurement Portal. Required documentation includes certifications, business licenses, insurance, and relevant experience forms. Pricing must include all charges and be entered as instructed. Proposals must be submitted electronically and on time through the eProcurement Portal. The City reserves the right to make changes to the solicitation via addenda, which must be acknowledged as instructed.
