Fitchburg State University reserves the right to waive any informalities or reject any bids if it is in the public interest to do so. The University Representative for this project is Heide Messing, Director of Capital Projects, 978-665-3681. The Alternate University Representative for this project is Brian Duffy, Director of Trades, 978- 665-3199 Question Deadline 04/20/2026 at 12:00 PM ET SCOPE The scope of the work, without limiting the generality thereof, shall consist of furnishing all labor, tools, equipment, materials, plants, and supervision to provide: Cooling Tower Cleaning (1 Cooling Tower with 2 cells), including drain, High Pressure cleaning, treatment with Biocide chemical, rinsing and fill; Chiller Cleaning (2 chillers), including punching the tubes and radiographic Eddy Current Testing; and any other work as described in the Drawings and Specifications. Work Areas: Antonucci Science Building, 333 North Street a. Cooling Tower on Penthouse Roof b. Chillers on Penthouse Roof c. Penthouse Mechanical Room 3. A Roof Plan Drawing is provided in Appendix A of these specifications for reference purposes only. All work is located on the fourth floor (Mechanical Penthouse and Roof). 4. Existing Cooling Tower has 2 cells. 5. Existing two (2) Chillers are: Carrier Water Cooled Chiller Model 23XRV
