Fitchburg State University invites sealed bids from contractors for Project #C2616A Dupont Steam Plant TSI Abatement in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. The project generally consists of, but is not limited to, abatement of TSI on boiler exhaust ductwork (breeching), steam piping, and condensate tanks, and any other work as described in the contract documents. The estimated cost of the work is $65,000.00 and prevailing wage rates apply. The University reserves the right to waive any informalities and reject any or all bids if it is in the public interest to do so. Contract documents and bid forms will be available upon request by email, and bidders must provide full contact information. Questions, Requests for Information or requests for clarification must be submitted in writing to the University Representative, no later than 12:00 Noon on April 24, 2026. Minority Business Enterprise and Women Business Enterprise Participation Goals and Minority/Women Workforce Utilization Percentages: The applicable goals, if any, for minority business enterprise and woman business enterprise participation established for this Contract are as follows: MBE: 4.2 % of the Contract Price. WBE: 8.8 % of the Contract Price. The minority workforce participation goal is 15.3 % of the Contract Price. The women workforce participation goal is 6.9 % of the Contract Price.
