The scope of work includes abrasive blasting and coating of structural steel beams, preparation and repainting of interior tin wall panels, and repair and repainting of interior drywall surfaces. Work also includes provision of full containment systems, ventilation, protection of existing facilities, and proper disposal of all waste materials. The project will be completed within an existing operating municipal arena during the scheduled ice-out period. Contractors must coordinate their work to meet strict timelines and minimize impact to facility operations. The successful contractor will be required to demonstrate experience in similar abrasive blasting and industrial coating projects within existing facilities.
