Installation of approximately 6,800 feet of 54-inch diameter DIP gravity sewer; installation of 18 precast concrete manholes; abandonment of existing 30-inch and 36-inch RCP sewer and associated manholes; bypass pumping of existing sewer flows to accommodate sewer installation and tie-ins; connection to the existing sewer; multiple stream crossings; installation and maintenance of erosion and sediment control measures; site restoration and clean-up; preparation of as-built drawings and providing GIS data for new piping and manholes. The project must be substantially complete and ready for operation within 390 days after the contract times commence, and complete and eligible for final payment 30 days after substantial completion. All bidding must conform to O.C.G.A. §36-91-2, -20 to -22. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be prequalified under the Annual Prequalification of Contractors for Gravity Sanitary Sewer, Subsection 2 (Gravity 12” & up), included in Section 00 21 14 “List of Pre-Qualified Bidders.” Bids submitted by contractors who have not been prequalified will not be considered. Contractors interested in pre-qualification must complete and submit an application to the Gwinnett County Department of Financial Services - Purchasing Division prior to the first date of advertisement. Individual projects may require independent pre-qualification depending on scope and complexity. Only complete sets of bidding documents must be used in preparation of bids.
