Stage 1 - Crushing Abrasives for Winter Maintenance, Various Locations. This is a two-stage selection process. Bidders are requested to submit a bid in two stages. Stage One will evaluate the qualifications of interested suppliers. Stage Two will invite qualified suppliers to provide further qualifications and a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. Upon award of contract in Stage Two, the pre-qualification list will expire and will not be used in any other solicitation. The qualification list will expire within 180 days or upon award of a contract in Stage Two, whichever is earlier. Pre-qualification will not be used in any other solicitation. Following the evaluation of submissions in Stage One, bidders will be advised of their qualification result and the status of the tender. Parks Canada reserves the right to re-issue Stage One if there is insufficient competition to proceed with Stage Two. Qualified bidders in Stage One will not be required to resubmit if Stage One is re-issued. Non-compliant bidders may resubmit. Stage Two bidders will be provided an Invitation to Tender for further qualifications and a financial evaluation in relation to the specifications and drawings. The ITT in Stage 2 will require a Two-Envelope ITT with an Indigenous Participation Plan and a price evaluation component. A list of pre-qualified bidders from Stage One will not be released. Contract award notice of the successful bidder of Stage Two will be posted online. Bids must be submitted by fax or email as indicated in the solicitation. Bids received in-person or by courier will not be accepted. Maximum email file size is 15 megabytes. Emails with links to bid documents will not be accepted. Bid documents must be sent as email attachments. Bidders should label emails properly if sending in multiple parts, including the solicitation number, project name, and number of emails included. Potential and interested sub-contractors are invited to add their company’s name under the "Partner with another business" section.
