Renovation of a multi-residential development in East Cleveland, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a multi-residential development.

The Cuyahoga Metropolitan Housing Authority (CMHA), on behalf of APTHORP, LLC is seeking quotes from qualified contractors for Door Replacement at Apthorp Tower. Refer to Exhibit 1 - Scope of Work. All work must be performed to the specifications noted in Exhibits 1 and 2, which include the CMHA Project Scope of Work and General Conditions. Exhibit 3 provides the composite panel specification. Quotes must be submitted according to these requirements. CMHA reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, and to accept any bid deemed to be in its best interest. All contract documents, including any contractor-supplied agreements, will be reviewed by the Contracting Officer prior to execution. Services cannot begin until a "Notice to Proceed" is received by the Contractor by email. It is the policy of CMHA to ensure that Minority-Owned Business Enterprises (MBEs) and Women-Owned Business Enterprises (WBEs) have maximum opportunity to participate, with a target of 20% participation by MBEs and 10% by WBEs in all contracting and procurement expenditures. Respondents must use their best efforts to achieve these goals in any subcontracts executed. Payment invoices must be certified by the Project Manager and Contracting Officer and submitted via email, supported by a summary of costs, description and date of service, and the contract number. This project is not subject to Davis-Bacon or HUD prevailing wage rates. All questions regarding the RFQ and requirements must be emailed to Yasvel Couso at cousotrigoy@cmha.net. Deadline to submit questions for this RFQ is April 14, 2026 by 10:00 am Purchase and install two new front interior and exterior entry doors and side light glass. This includes new composite aluminum panels at both sides of each door for security. This project shall include project contingencies of $3,500.00 for Unseen Conditions First floor lobby main entry: o Purchase and install one new exterior entry door and maintain the new interior door. Include replacement of both frames and window systems at the interior and exterior entrances. o Remove existing entry doors and aluminum frames including all glass. o Purchase and install one new hollow metal entry door with Vision light glass. Reuse the existing interior door. o Install two complete aluminum frames and sidelight glass at each entry. o Caulk window and door frames. Seal gaps between floor, walls and ceiling as necessary. o Patch and paint drywall and surrounding areas disturbed after removing old doors and frames. Color: match existing. o Remove and reinstall magnetic locks, automatic door openers, ADA exit buttons, and card access reader(s). o Coordinate with security access vendor to complete door card access reader and hardware installation. o Each door shall have a recessed door pull on the outside. o Install composite aluminum panels at 36" height at both sides of entry in place of glass panels. o Upper glass panels will be 1/4 " laminated glass. o Maintain a fully secured entrance by removing and reinstalling one entry door and frame at a time.
