New construction of an educational facility in Alma, Quebec. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 20,000-square-foot, four-story above grade, 10-unit, 40-room educational facility.
Construction of a new student residence at Alma College. The proposed building, located on Saint-Joseph South Street, will have three and a half stories and a footprint of 392 square meters. It will include 40 rooms divided into 10 apartments with common areas, including a unit adapted for a person with reduced mobility. Workspaces and rooms that can occasionally accommodate service providers are also planned to meet the needs of the student community. TIMELINE: The project has just been announced. The funding package was composed of subsides provided by the City of Alma, Desjardins and the MRC of Lac-Saint-Jean-Est. Final scope, budget and timelines of the project implementation will be finalized at a later time.
