This requirement is for a maintenance service agreement on the Thermo Electron Eclipse system and associated LC’s. Maintenance service is critical to ensure the instrument functions properly and provides accurate data. The service must be performed by guaranteed OEM technicians and, if necessary, provided with guaranteed OEM replacement parts, excluding third-party items and consumables. The contract will cover the following instruments with their corresponding service plans: ORBITRAP ECLIPSE, PTR READY (UNITY ESSENTIAL SUPPORT PLAN-MSPEC-LC-MS); FAIMS PRO (Standard Options Plan-LSMS); UltiMate 3000 NCS-3500RS NANO Nano-Cap-S (UNTY ESSENTIAL PLAN CHROM LC DNX); UltiMate 3000 WPS 3000TFC ANALYTICAL (UNTY ESSENTIAL PLAN CHROM LC DNX); and Ultimate 3000 VWD-3400RS (UNTY ESSENTIAL PLAN CHROM LC DNX). The plan includes unlimited demand on-site service visits with a maximum 72-hour response time, engineer labor and travel, priority technical support, one scheduled preventative maintenance visit, coverage for Thermo Scientific supplied personal computers, OEM factory-certified replacement parts, subscription to e-support online technical resources, parts and accessories for the end user during the active contract, institute- or on-site training for chromatography, mass spectrometry or trace, and software and firmware updates upon request with scheduled maintenance visits. Due to the sensitive nature of the projects, services must be of equal service as provided directly by the manufacturer, Thermo Electron. All third party offerors must include Thermo Electron certification documentation as a dealer service provider for Thermo Electron for quotes to be considered. If providing services under a billable contract, third party offerors must also include certification documentation confirming a billable contract service is of equal service as a direct contract, including priority response time.
