Renovation of a mixed-use development in Washington, District of Columbia. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 17,000-square-foot office development.
Professional Architect-Engineer services to evaluate, plan, and design the repurposing of approximately 17,000 square feet on the 8th floor of Building A. The existing space consists of vacant areas and a dining area and requires modernization. The objective is to deliver complete, biddable, and constructible design documents to support phased construction for repurposing the southeast corner of the 8th floor into a multi-functional workplace environment that supports building occupants, tenant agencies, and visitors. The repurposed space is anticipated to include a self-service lounge or refreshment area, conference and meeting facilities, and flexible workspace areas. The building will remain occupied during design and construction, and the design shall address construction phasing, occupant safety, and protection of existing building systems. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
