This Sources Sought Notice is issued to conduct market research to determine the availability of qualified Small Business general contractors capable of performing general construction services under a prospective Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract. The anticipated contract will require contractors to supervise, administer, perform, and manage all construction activities necessary to complete a wide range of projects for the General Services Administration, Public Buildings Service. Construction work may include office construction, renovations, and repairs; mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system repairs, modifications, and replacements; fire sprinkler system repairs, modifications, and replacements; sitework and exterior construction repairs and alterations including facades and roofs; demolition activities including hazardous material abatement; elevator modernizations; and other general construction activities as required by the government. Contractors may be required to deliver projects using multiple delivery methods, including Design/Bid/Build, Design/Build, Design/Build Bridging, and Construction Manager as Constructor. The Government anticipates awarding multiple IDIQ contracts with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods, with task orders competed among awardees in accordance with FAR requirements. Task order values are expected to range from $350,000 to $10,000,000, with a cumulative maximum ordering limit of $500,000,000 across all contracts. Responses are requested solely for market research purposes and will be used to support acquisition planning decisions. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
