Arthur Lakes Library houses the school's special collections, repository, classrooms, study rooms, offices, and a coffee shop. This project will demolish two classrooms and an office to install three testing rooms, two private testing rooms, and an office suite. Two other existing rooms will be repurposed to provide testing services. The total area of construction is 2,897 square feet. The new construction includes walls, doors, ceiling grid, flooring, and upgrades to the mechanical, data, electrical, and lighting systems. Scope of Services 1. The general contractor shall provide complete construction services for the demolition of the classrooms and office, including hauling and/or recycling refuse material, and the installation of the new testing center. 2. The project shall include all work needed for a complete, "ready to use" site. 3. Construction will be performed in cooperation with Colorado School of Mines. 4. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, selective demolition, construction of Testing Center, site staging, site protection, temporary services, odor mitigation, and mechanical/electrical system integration. 5. The Project Manager has determined that the entire project shall be substantially complete within 9 weeks from the Construction Start Date to Substantial Completion.
