Reference Number 0000420985 Purchase Type Duration: 1 year Option: Option up to five years This Request for Proposal (RFP) is seeking to establish a qualified list for hazardous material and chemical waste ("Waste") handling services ("Services"). Mines intends to award as many vendors as Mines deems necessary to ensure adequate service availability for each scope of work provided below. Scope A - Waste Handling and Hazardous Materials Services: Mines intends to establish a list of pre-qualified Contractors to provide recurring, scheduled waste management services and & Hazardous Materials Services. This award is intended for firms capable of maintaining a consistent presence on campus. Mines will select a primary contractor to perform these functions and may call other awarded Offerors if the currently scheduled Contractor is not available or lacks trained and qualified personnel to perform the specific functions needed. Scope B - Emergency Services: Mines intends to establish a list of pre-qualified Contractors to provide emergency response services. Inclusion on the list makes a Vendor eligible to respond to emergency spills on an as-needed basis. Offerors may submit proposals for Scope A, or Scope B, or both scopes. There is no guarantee of work under any awarded contract.
