The services consist of providing all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to perform street cleaning, grass maintenance on curbed and non-curbed streets, removal of trash from streets, holiday event cleaning, tree trimming, grit and trash removal from storm drains, landscape maintenance at various city-owned locations, maintenance of planting beds along city streets, and removal of curb-side yard waste (leaf and limb) city-wide, including all necessary and related tasks. Contractors are required to enter into a two-year agreement to render these services. Proposals must use the provided form, with accurate, itemized bid numbers for each service. Bidders may submit a proposal for only the grass maintenance at the Water Treatment Plant and Water Pollution Control Plant by marking "N/A" for other services. Awarded bidders must promptly enter into a contract and provide Performance Bond and Payment Bond, if required, equal to 100% of the contract amount. The City will favor bids including such bonds, but they are not strictly required. Only original RFP packages will be accepted; photocopies, faxed, or emailed bids will not be accepted. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
