Site work for a sidewalk / parking lot in New Castle, Delaware. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot.
To construct a one-mile section of shared-use path along the north side of SR 37 (Commons Blvd) from the intersection of SR 141 and Commons Blvd to the intersection of Airport Road and Commons Blvd in New Castle County, Delaware. Bids must include all proposal pages, be signed and sealed, and be accompanied by a bidder's bond or certified check in an amount equal to 10 percent of the bid price. The CRC form, Alcohol & Drug Testing Affidavit, Small Business Enterprise Program forms, and all other proposal forms must be included. All contractors and subcontractors are required to pay minimum wages as determined by the US Department of Labor and/or the State of Delaware Department of Labor, and report payroll information electronically. Compliance with the Build America, Buy America Act (BABA) is required, ensuring that all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials used are produced in the United States, with minimal exceptions. There is a Small Business Enterprise (SBE) participation goal of 2 percent for this contract. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid meeting is required.
