The work includes the installation of approximately 1,235 linear feet of new 4", 6", and 8" water lines and appurtenances, such as new flushing hydrant, valves, and curb stops on Route 2, Hyde Road, East Shore North, Faywood Road, and Tebeau Terrace. Additionally, the project requires the installation of 5,060 linear feet of water services, eleven horizontal directional drills, and two jack and bore crossings under Vermont Route 2 for water mains and services. Appurtenant work includes traffic control, EPSC measures, trench pavement repair, site repair/restoration/cleanup, and miscellaneous tasks. Bids must be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. The project is funded in part through the Vermont Clean Water State Revolving Fund and is subject to various provisions such as bid security, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements, performance and payment bonds, AIS, BABA, federal wage rates, and a prohibition on certain telecommunications and video surveillance services equipment.
