Renovation of an educational facility in Troy, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals are requested for the Idea Bank Annex Renovation for Troy University. Each proposal must include a cashiers check or bid bond payable to Troy University for at least five percent of the bid amount, up to a maximum of $10,000. Performance and Payment Bonds and proof of required insurance must be provided at contract signing. Drawings and specifications are available for review at the office of Seay, Seay & Litchfield Architects and at designated plan rooms. Electronic files of the bid documents can be requested from the Architects office. These documents are solely for use in bidding and construction of this project. All individuals requesting documents will be recorded and notified of addenda. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held, and interested bidders must attend. Bids must be submitted on proposal forms provided by the Architect or copies thereof. Bidders exceeding the amount set by the State Licensing Board for General Contractors must be licensed, and evidence of such must be displayed on the outside of the sealed proposal envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technical errors if deemed in the Owners best interest.
