Site work for a pipeline in Kimberly, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a pipeline.
The work includes the installation of approximately the following items: 8" Steel Pipe (Open Trench), 1,575 L.F.; 8" Steel Pipe by Horizontal Directional Drill (HDD), 260 L.F.; 8" Steel Valve, 1 Each; 8" Hot-Tap Connection (Line Stopper Fitting), 2 Each; Grout Fill Existing 8" Steel Gas Line, 1,835 L.F.; Cathodic Test Station, 1 Each; and other miscellaneous necessary items. Bidders must meet the "Cullman-Jefferson Counties Gas District - Approved Contractor Requirements" and submit required documentation with their bid. Each bidder must be a licensed contractor in accordance with the regulations of the State of Alabama and must include the license number, expiration date and classification on the outside of the sealed bid envelope. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all informalities and technicalities therein. No bidder will be allowed to withdraw their bid, without Owner's consent, for a period of sixty (60) days after the date of actual bid opening.
