The purpose is to establish an agency specific term contract to provide tailgate spread delivery of Aggregate, ABC to the Department of Transportation’s Division 2 for various locations as needed in Beaufort, Pitt, Greene, Lenoir, Jones, Craven, Pamlico, and Carteret Counties on an as needed basis. Bids must be submitted in accordance with the terms and conditions including all components made part of the IFB and any addenda. Vendors are responsible for reading and complying with the Instructions to Vendors, North Carolina General Terms and Conditions, all exhibits and attachments, and any addenda. Questions or requests for exception regarding components of the IFB must be submitted as questions in accordance with the instructions in the BID QUESTIONS Section, and any changes will be communicated as an addendum. Any additional or modified terms and conditions submitted with a Vendor’s bid that seek to vary the requirements or instructions, or make the bid non-binding, will not be considered unless expressly agreed upon through negotiations and incorporated in a Best and Final Offer (BAFO). Noncompliance or attempts to alter or delete these requirements are grounds for rejection of the bid as non-responsive.
