Site work for a water / sewer project in Auburn, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project consists of constructing approximately 1,945 linear feet of open cut 12" C900 PVC water main, with portions of 4", 6" and 8" C900 PVC water main, approximately 920 linear feet of open cut SDR35 PVC sanitary sewer replacement, sanitary sewer structure replacement, storm inlets and laterals, fire hydrant assembly removal and installations, replacement of residential water services and sanitary sewer services, valves, connections to existing water main, pavement and sidewalk removal, curb and gutter removal, and general site restoration as specified. All remaining permanent restoration work will be incorporated in a separate City street reconstruction project which will commence immediately following the final completion date for this project. Instructions to bidders: Bid packets must include one original and one copy of all documents, proposals properly executed on the bid form with confirmation of Addenda received if issued, and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, Bid Bond, IRS Form W-9, E-Verify of Work Eligibility Status, Affidavit Concerning Employment of Unauthorized Aliens, Affidavit Concerning Investment Activities in Iran, and valid Certificates of Qualification for Public Works projects per IC 4-13.6-4 or IC 8-23-10 as applicable. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount must accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the Contract amount, and a 3-year maintenance bond in the amount of 10% of the final construction cost. The City of Auburn Board of Public Works & Safety reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to award contracts in the City's best interest.
