Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Auburn, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

Work for which proposals are to be received is for the reconstruction of Runway 9-27 (5,000' of 7,105') at the Auburn-DeKalb Executive Airport, including earthwork grading, full depth reclamation of existing pavement, asphalt paving, airfield electrical, pavement marking, seeding and erosion control, and necessary incidentals to complete the work as detailed on the Contract Drawings and specified in the Contract Documents. The Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and material necessary to complete the work. Bidders are required to be a plan holder of record having obtained the contract documents through the office of the Engineer. Bids not meeting this requirement will be deemed non-responsive. Bids shall be properly executed and addressed to the address shown where bids are to be received together with the documents required by the bid forms, specifications, and related legal documents contained in the Contract Documents. Bids must be submitted electronically to the Owner. No Bidder may withdraw his proposal within a period of one hundred twenty (120) days following the date set for the receiving of bids. The Owner reserves the right to retain any and all bids for a period of not more than one hundred twenty (120) days and said bid shall remain in full force and effect during said time. The Owner further reserves the right to waive informalities and to award the Contract to any Bidder all to the advantage of the Owner or to reject all bids. A bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid is required. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of one-hundred percent (100%) of the Contract price will be required. Each bid shall be accompanied by bidder's financial statement, a statement of experience, a proposed plan or plans for performing the public work, and the equipment available for the performance of the public work, submitted on forms prescribed by the State Board of Accounts, including Bid Forms 96, together with the required non-collusion affidavit. Wage rates on the project shall not be less than the prescribed scale of wages as determined in accordance with the most recent Wage Rate Decision of the Secretary of the U.S. Department of Labor; all acts amendatory thereof and supplemental thereto. The proposed contract is under and subject to applicable federal and state equal opportunity and nondiscrimination requirements.
