Renovation of a municipal facility in Barnes, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The contractor shall provide all labor, materials, and equipment to complete the following: full tear-off of existing roofing down to the plywood/wood deck; inspection of sheathing and replacement of damaged wood (unit price for plywood replacement should be included); installation of ASTM D1970 compliant ice and water shield at eaves (minimum 2 rows) and valleys; installation of Class A fire-rated, 30-year (minimum) architectural asphalt shingles; installation of a continuous ridge vent and replacement of all roof boots/vents; installation of new corrosion-resistant drip edges and chimney/wall flashing; daily debris removal and final magnetic sweep of the grounds. Contractors must be registered with the State of Wisconsin. Provide a Certificate of Liability Insurance and proof of Worker's Compensation. Contractor is responsible for obtaining necessary Bayfield County permits. A bid bond or certified check for 5% of the total bid may be required for projects exceeding certain thresholds. The proposal form should include a total base bid, estimated squares (to be verified by site visit), plywood replacement price per 4x8 sheet, and estimated start/completion date.
