The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the upgrade of eight existing concessions and installation of Owner-Furnished Products and other work as indicated in the Contract Documents. To be eligible to bid, a general bidder must be certified for the estimated project cost of $2,000,000 and for the category of Prime Contractors General Building Construction. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certificate of Eligibility issued by the Massachusetts Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) and a Contractor Qualification Update Statement. Any bid without these documents will be invalid. All sub-bidders must be certified for the estimated filed sub-bid costs in the following categories: Metal Windows, Glass and Glazing, Tile, Painting, Plumbing, HVAC, Electrical Work. Each sub-bid must include a DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and a Sub-contractor Qualification Update Statement. Any sub-bid without these will be invalid. Each bid shall be submitted in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders and other Contract Documents and shall include a bid deposit of 5% of the value of the bid. The successful general bidder will be required to furnish a performance bond and a labor and materials or payment bond as set forth in the bid form.
