Bids are invited for the construction of 0.147 miles of bridge and approaches on W. Gallatin Street, known as Local System Bridge Program (LSBP) Project No. LSBP-15(21) in Copiah County, Mississippi. Bidders may submit proposals in a sealed envelope or electronically. The award will go to the lowest qualified bidder based on the published quantities. Minority business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not face discrimination based on race, color, or national origin. Bidders must base their proposals on the latest edition of the Mississippi Standard Specifications for State Aid Road and Bridge Construction. Plans and specifications are available in designated offices and may be ordered. The award will be made to the lowest qualified bidder, and bidders may be asked to submit information about five similar projects for evaluation. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Copiah County and the State of Mississippi. Proposals qualified in any manner will be considered irregular and will not be considered for award.
