Furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services for an HVAC service contract at GA073, GA171, GA193, and GA147 located in Walton, Barrow, and Morgan Counties, Georgia. All bids must be plainly marked as BID for HVAC service contract at these locations. Proposals submitted by mail should be addressed properly and will be collected and held unopened until the designated time. Bidding documents, including plans and specifications, are available at the Housing Authority office. Contractors are required to comply with equal employment requirements of the Federal Government, all local and federal guidelines regarding illegal immigration and/or the E-Verify Program (signed affidavit required), and the Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA). Contractors must also adhere to Section 3 of the US Department of Housing & Urban Development Act of 1968 and 24 CFR part 135 to the greatest extent feasible by providing training, contracting, and employment opportunities to low and very-low income residents residing in the Housing Authority Communities or jurisdiction area. Contractors must pay salaries not less than the Davis-Bacon wage rates as published by the U.S. Department of Labor and as set forth in the specifications. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bids may be withdrawn for sixty (60) days subsequent to the bid opening without the owner's consent.
